Tingling can be defined as an unusual and abnormal sensation of the skin which commonly felt in extremities like, hands, fingers, arms, feet, and legs its slightly similar to numbness. While is associated with deficiencies and excessiveness of vitamins, blood circulation and system.
Blood circulation or cardiovascular system is responsible for sending oxygen and nutrients to cells of all parts of your body and removes extra carbon dioxide from all parts of the cell. The system mainly includes heart and blood vessels. The blood vessels carry blood away from the heart while veins carry it back to the heart. Trunk- the main and the largest artery (aorta) which further divided into large arteries and then into smaller blood vessels. The systematic is responsible to provide oxygen to the vital substances, tissues and cells to perform proper functioning while the pulmonary is responsible to release carbon dioxide at the same time to maintain homeostatic conditions internally.

But if any restrictions are held in the flow of blood, poor circulation will be experienced that can lead to health conditions like tingling. Due to insufficient blood supply, a sensation of pins and needles felt and the ability of sensing pressure of that specific part will be decreased.

For example, sitting in the same position for a long time can cause tingling but it’s necessary to know the reason behind it if you experienced unusual tingling several times. It can be a symptom of more serious and permanent nerve damage which can lead to some serious conditions.

What are the symptoms and effects of Tingling Arms on the body?

In arms tingling, the pressure on nerves caused and sensation of prickling and burning while the arms are unable to feel any extra sensation of pressure.   • Paralysis upon different body parts

Severe tingling can cause various diseases, even life-threatening. If it is not treated on time, can cause diseases like Carpal tunnel syndrome, Diabetes, Migraines, Multiple sclerosis, Seizures, Stroke, Transient ischemic attack (TIA), which is sometimes called a “mini-stroke.” While Underactive thyroid and narrowing of the blood vessels, usually in the hands and feet. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a painful condition occurs when one of the major nerves serving the hands is squeezed or compressed as it travels through the wrist. Mainly, the median nerve is involved in it which is the main nerve of the front of the forearm and supplies muscles. Carpal tunnel syndrome always results in severe tingling and can lead to weakness and lack of coordination between your fingers and thumb, if left untreated. Transient Ischemic Attack TIA is similar to the stroke and is caused due to severe tingling in the left arm. It usually lasts for minutes and if lasts for more than an hour, it indicates stroke and related conditions. The symptoms of TIA are weakness or blindness of one or both eyes.

What changes in diet can help improve symptoms of Tingling Arms?

Dietary management for tingling arms includes herbs and spices to heal internally the nerve and muscular damage. Dietary management often depends upon the severity of tingling. One should get proper guidance and recommendation from his/her nutritionist before making changes in diet routine.

The spices for tingling include black pepper, cloves, fresh ginger, mustard seed, nigella, rosemary, turmeric, and red chili while it is best to use buckwheat also used with the spices.

Herbal Teas for tingling include Punarnava, Trikatu, Guggulu, Tulsi- the Holy Basal Leaf while Turmeric Tincture is also good for tingling.

According to Ayurveda, when you are taking above mentioned spices and herbs, you should also avoid some specific diets to heal the tingling including cold food items as well as gooey food because they may aggravate your tingling.
